8 May 2020 – Introducing StemMeets, which is the new facility we have launched to support researchers in disseminating their work and latest findings. It is another new component of StemHub and part of the Open Science strategy that StemJournal promotes.

The aim of StemMeets is to provide researchers with the options to communicate abstracts and proceedings, plus posters, meeting, conference, and workshop reports across the full spectrum of stem cell research from one open access platform.

Even though, as we launch this factility, physical meetings are not taking place, researchers are still interacting and sharing their latest research results via virtual events. It doesn't matter whether your work was first communicated at a physical or a virtual conference, workshop, or meeting, we still welcome the findings that you wish to submit.

StemMeets will include content relating to meetings, such as:

We have already published our first set of meeting abstracts – from the HSCI Scientific Retreat in 2019, see here – and more content in the other sections will be published in the coming weeks and months. Click the links above (or from the top dropdown menu) to discover more.

The StemMeets portal will offer a single point of access and a “one-stop-shop” for stem cell research as part of our open science trajectory of: Poster – Preprint – Paper.
