Amsterdam, NL – StemJournal starts 2019 by expanding and strengthening its team as it welcomes a third Senior Editor to its ranks!
The newest member of the Editorial Board is Agnete Kirkeby, PhD, Professor of Stem Cell Biology at the Center for Stem Cell Research and Developmental Biology (DanStem), at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. Agnete has founded her own research on applying human pluripotent stem cells to generate subtype-specific neural cells for developmental studies and regenerative therapy.
For StemJournal, Agnete will oversee topics and submitted papers in basic science and her appointment now takes the number of Senior Editors working on this vehicle for stem cell research to three. She joins Laurence Daheron, PhD who oversees all submitted protocols, and Winston Hide, PhD who covers all computational biology submissions.
Editor-in-Chief Chad A. Cowan, PhD is at the helm of StemJournal as it launches, with an aim to keep pace with developments in this fast-moving field. The key priority is to publish open access content and top quality stem cell research, including clinical application, disease modeling, computational and systems biology, and data science.
